The National Theatre of Great Britain is located in the South Bank Centre, next to the River Thames, and Waterloo Bridge. It is a publicly funded performing arts venue. It boasts three theatres under one roof: the Olivier, the Lyttelton and the Dorfman. It is a Grade II listed building. The architecture is praised and ridiculed, aptly described as brutalist architecture.
